Support Us

RALC is a 501(c)3 community-based literacy organization and relies upon the generosity of individuals and companies to support its mission. The opportunities for support are numerous and varied. Check out the links below to identify the giving opportunity that best matches your interest. For more information, contact Katie Patterson at 972-644-5119 or director@ralc.org.

Annual Fundraisers

The RALC hosts fundraisers throughout the year, including:

Murder Mystery – Spring, Richardson Public Library

This fun “who-done-it” is an interactive event where community leaders and professional actors participate in a play – and attendees work in teams to solve the “crime.”

If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please email your address to literacy@ralc.org and indicate “Murder Mystery List” in the subject line.

Stay at Home Tea – September

In honor of National Literacy Month, the RALC reaches out to community members in September, providing a tea bag and suggesting they curl up with a good book and a cup of tea – and support literacy by making a financial contribution to the RALC.

If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please email your address to literacy@ralc.org and indicate “Stay at Home Tea List” in the subject line.

Buns & Roses Romance Tea for Literacy – Fall, Renaissance Hotel Richardson

Enjoy an afternoon tea with romance novelists from across the country. Typically held in the fall, this delightful event is hosted by the RALC and Richardson Public Library.

To learn more, visit the Buns & Roses Romance Tea for Literacy website.

If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please email your address to literacy@ralc.org and indicate “Buns & Roses List” in the subject line.

Planned Gifts
