Welcome to the Richardson Adult Literacy Center

The Richardson Adult Literacy Center transforms lives by providing free English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to adults from other countries who live or work in Richardson or Richardson ISD area. These adults want to learn or improve their English so they can gain better employment, help their children in school and become more involved community members.

As an accredited Pro Literacy America affiliate, we train volunteer tutors, recruit adult students and place students into classroom or one-to-one instruction.

As we expand our classes to serve more adults in our community, your support is needed more than ever. Consider making a financial donation by visiting our Support page.
