Transforming Lives

By Meeting the Functional Literacy Needs of Adults in Richardson and the RISD

Parents of children at Terrace Elementary School attend a class sponsored by the Richardson Adult Literacy Center.

RALC Tutor Training: “Have It your Way!”

We offer two options..or you can do both!

Option 1: Independent study: Tutor takes 3 short online courses, then work through a locally produced DVD at your convenience. A

short meeting with a trainer is scheduled to answer questions and provide face-to-face interaction.

Option #2: Attend  a Tutor Training Workshop!  Orientation and instruction will provide you  with the tools you  need to begin tutoring.

The next workshop is February 6, 2010.

Call the RALC office to register, 972-644-5119 or send an e-mail to literacy@ralc.org for more information.
